  • REAL TALK 〰️ Pretty much every day in my life could be considered Valentine's Day 💓 as it relates to my level of chocolate 🍫 consumption. Seriously, it's a RARE day when I don't eat it in some way shape or form. .

My go-to clean, dairy and refined sugar-free brands are @hukitchen @honeymamas and @eatingevolved but when I want something extra special I'm whipping up these ✨CBD Feel-Good Fudgey Cashew Butter Brownies.✨

Not only do they rank as one of my most popular recipes (especially with the meat-lovin’ hubby @chambersnorthwest ) and taste majorly gooey, chocolatey and rich, but they're also grain-free, dairy-free and refined-sugar-free (so no digestive issues post-brownie consumption here). .

  • THE #SOUPLIFE CHOSE ME 〰️ and I'm not mad about it 😂 Not only are soups simple to make and especially warming during winter, but they're an easy way to sneak in tons of good-for-us ingredients to boost our immune system and overall health.⠀

This Cozy Eggplant Chickpea Curry with Cardamom Spiced-Quinoa is my latest jam due to it's digestive-healing properties. .

So many of us (an estimated 70% of Americans) suffer from digestive issues (food reactions or sensitivities, indigestion, heartburn, acid reflux, bloat, gas, cramping, IBS, SIBO, etc.) and one of the biggest culprits is our consumption of refined and highly processed vegetable oils (like canola, palm, safflower, rapeseed oil, etc.). .

These oils congest our livers and gallbladders, neutralizing the bile needed to break down fats and produce stomach acid necessary to digest foods well.⠀

Besides limiting these oils when possible (hard to do especially if eating out all the time as most restaurants use them bc they're cheap) try adding in more foods that naturally promote bile and stomach acid production. .

I also open up about something I've never publicly shared before, as it felt super personal and scary at the time, but I hope by telling my story other women out there feel a little less alone in this experience 〰️ and maybe, just maybe, when reading you'll feel inspired to trust in yourself and this journey (wherever you are in it) and know that things probably won't go as planned 〰️but that's part of the beauty of it all.
