As someone who has dealt with everything from IBS to SIBO to PMS to food sensitivities (hi gluten and dairy!) I’ve experienced my fair share of bloat.
And, like you already know, it can be incredibly uncomfortable, not to mention seriously undesirable (especially when you’re wearing a bathing suit or heading out to an event you want to look your best at).
Luckily, as a nutrition and hormone health coach, over the years I’ve put together quite a toolbox of anti-bloat remedies (ginger tea, apple cider vinegar, etc.) for myself and my clients, and Arrae’s Bloat Pills are the latest secret (not so secret) weapon in my arsenal.
Read below for my detailed Arrae Bloat review and all of the details you need to know before purchasing (plus an exclusive discount code!)
Arrae Bloat is a supplement made up of potent herbs and digestive enzymes to stimulate digestion and reduce bloat, gas and indigestion naturally.
The Arrae Bloat pills work by essentially speeding up digestion and the breakdown of food post consumption. This specifically targets bloat, as bloating is a result of gas, which most often occurs when your digestive system becomes sluggish, due to a lack of digestive enzymes, dysfunctional migrating motor complex or dysbiosis of gut bacteria (or a combo of the three). These changes are often caused by exposure to chronic stress, processed food, toxins, antibiotics, hormonal birth control pills, thyroid issues or other hormonal imbalances, etc.
When digestion slows, it gives bacteria an extra long time to break down food (or it can’t properly break it down, leaving undigested food particles) which causes a buildup of air and gas. And you’ve already learned gas is the main source of bloat. Thus, the herbs and digestive enzymes in the Arrae Bloat Pill work to reduce bloat by speeding up digestion and reducing transit time.
There are only six ingredients in the Arrae Bloat Pill (i.e. no fillers!) which include:
A fruit enzyme found in pineapple that speeds up the breakdown of food
Works to increase intestinal motility (i.e. the rate at which food exits the stomach)
A carminative herb that relieves flatulence (aka gas)
The polysaccharides in this herb help your liver produce bile which in turn breaks down food and filters out toxins
An antispasmodic that relieves stomach cramps, bloating and gas
Contains mucilage that works to improve bowel regularity
Because the Arrae Bloat Pills contain only six natural ingredients (and are completely laxative free) there are no known side effects. I can also attest to this from my personal experience.
Arrae Bloat is designed to be taken either immediately before or after meals and you should notice a decrease in bloat within 30 minutes to an hour after taking (I can also personally attest to this, read more in my review below). Not only have third-party clinical trials found that the intensity and severity of bloat decreased quickly post consumption, but the frequency of bloating also decreased after 8 weeks of regular usage. This means the Arrae Bloat pills are designed to work for both immediate and long-term relief.
You can take them prior to a meal if you know ahead of time it’s going to trigger bloat (i.e. anything containing cheese for me!) or immediately after your meal for the best results. You can also take them daily without any side effects. I personally like to take mine post-meal.
You can buy Arrae Bloat Pills directly via their website and use the code SOFRESH15 to save 15% off your first purchase. If you try it and like it, they also offer a subscription service which is what I use.
I first heard about Arrae when I listed to a podcast interview with their founders Siff Haider and Nish Samantray and was instantly intrigued. As a nutrition and hormone health coach who works with clients who often suffer from bloat AND personally deals with it due to IBS, I am always on the lookout for digestive supporting tools to add to my arsenal.
I could totally relate to the founders story (Siff suffered from many of the same symptoms I do) and I absolutely loved that they were on a mission to create a natural supplement with ZERO fillers, synthetics, weird ingredients, laxatives or uncomfortable side effects in order to help women feel their best without having to make sacrifices on the things (or food) they love (my MO!).
I also know there’s a lot of supplement snake oil out there, so I valued the company’s transparency in regards to the ingredients and efficacy of their products, especially how they run third-party tested clinical trials (which no surprise had amazing results!)
I knew I had to try it out for myself, and ordered my first Arrae Bloat Pills in November of 2021, during peak holiday season. Let’s just say I’m so glad I did because they helped me get through the holidays, and I’ve never looked back (I’m now on the monthly subscription service because of how often I use it).
Even though I regularly cook and eat clean, nutrient-dense food, I often still feel bloated afterwards as a result of IBS and occasional SIBO flareups. I also LOVE to eat, and occasionally overdo it LOL. Additionally, I almost always puff up after I eat dairy, but just can’t resist it every now and then (especially when we go out to eat). I’ve taken Arrae to help me deal with all of the above, and within 30 minutes to an hour my pants loosen up and I feel less puffy (I even notice a difference in my fingers!)
Not only that, but because it speeds up digestion I’ve noticed an improvement in the regularity of my bowel movements, which is a huge bloat reducer for me (I used to look like I was pregnant when I was really just constipated).
Last but certainly not least, I’ve experienced ZERO side effects when using, and love that the pills are safe to use daily if needed (which lets be real I need them often!)
As a business owner and mother of two, time is my biggest asset and I’m ALWAYS looking for ways to streamline and simplify. While there are tons of other natural bloat remedies I recommend and try to put into practice, sometimes you just need some quick relief, and that’s what Arrae is for me. I also love the convenience of the subscription service, as it’s one less thing I have to think about/remember.
Arrae Bloat is absolutely NOT a cure-all, and if you’re suffering from bloat and other digestive issues I encourage you to look deeper into your symptoms to address the root-cause. That being said, I believe it’s an amazing tool to add to your arsenal if you experience bloat often (me), LOVE eating but not so much how you feel after (it me!) or are planning to travel (IKYK).
**I also recommend consulting with your medical practitioner before taking, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, suffer from gastrointestinal issues or currently taking medications.
